Brooklyn, NY - Diddy may have spent the last several decades living in the lap of luxury, but this year’s Thanksgiving dinner no doubt looks a lot different to what he’s used to.
According to TMZ, the Bad Boy boss will be feasting on turkey roast, hot and sour tofu, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, cranberry sauce, turkey gravy, dinner rolls and holiday pies on Thursday (November 28).
Puffy is currently being held at the notorious Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, where fellow rap villian 6ix9ine is also an inmate.
The embattled mogul is awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, while 6ix9ine was recently sentenced to 45 days in jail for violating his probation.
They’re not the only Hip Hop figures spending Thanksgiving behind bars, with TMZ reporting that Suge Knight will be devouring green salad with dressing, mashed potatoes, sliced turkey ham and sweetcorn, among other delicacies, as he continues to serve a 28-year sentence for manslaughter.
Also in a federal prison in California, Tory Lanez‘s plate will include roasted turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, carrots, cranberry sauce, a dinner roll, pumpkin spice cake and red beans.
Diddy previously complained about the quality of jail food, with his lawyer describing it as the “roughest part” of his incarceration following his arrest in September.
However, the 55-year-old will have to learn to get used to it as he was denied bail for a third time on Wednesday (November 27), meaning it’s likely he will remain behind bars until his trial begins next May.
Judge Arun Subramanian cited a variety of factors in his ruling, including the mogul’s violations of prison rules around communications to “misrepresentations” he made to the judge at a recent hearing concerning material recovered during a sweep of his jail cell.
The judge also said that freeing Diddy would present “a serious risk of witness tampering,” pointing to his contact with an escort who prosecutors say participated in multiple “freak-offs.”
Concerns over Diddy’s “propensity for violence” were also raised, with the judge citing his brutal 2016 attack on Cassie that was caught on camera and leaked to the media earlier this year.
The Bad Boy founder had proposed a bail package worth $50 million, using his Miami Beach mansion as collateral and agreeing to house arrest, 24/7 security and no contact with alleged victims or witnesses.
He is currently appealing his bail status in a different court, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
