Chloe x Halle's Chloe Bailey has left her fans speechless after her breathtaking cover of Silk Sonic's debut single "Leave the Door Open."
The 22-year-old singer came through with the high notes on Saturday (March 20) for her stripped-down, minute-long performance, as she effortlessly took on both Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak's parts without her sister and Chloe x Halle's other half.
And Bailey isn't the only female singer looking for an open door into Silk Sonic. Victoria Monét released her supersonic audition tape with a live performance of her own groovy track "Jaguar" after pondering if she could open for the duo when they tour in the future.
Meanwhile, H.E.R., who recently won song of the year for "I Can't Breathe" at the 2021 Grammy Awards where Silk Sonic performed, said she "tried to audition" but didn't know if she "made the cut" when she posted a picture of herself with Mars and .Paak.
Silk Sonic recently snagged their first No. 1 song on Billboard's Hot R&B Songs chart last week (dated March 20). It also debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.
