Musician, poet and songwriter Peter Doherty has revealed plans for a 10-date UK tour in February 2027, bringing a newly formed solo supergroup on the road for the first time.
Named The Joyce, Jones, DeVidas, Neary, Moore Tour, the upcoming shows will mark the lineup's first live performances across the UK. Doherty will be joined by former Smiths drummer Mike Joyce, guitarist Mike Moore (Liam Gallagher), bassist and pedal steel player Mark Neary (Baxter Dury), guitarist Jack Jones (Trampolene), and keyboardist Katia deVidas (Puta Madres). The group will play a selection of songs spanning Doherty's career, including material from his solo releases, Babyshambles and The Libertines, alongside a handful of tracks from The Smiths.
The announcement comes after the strong response to Doherty's most recent solo album, Felt Better Alive, which reached Number 7 on the UK Albums Chart in May 2025, giving him his highest solo chart position to date. The album produced four well-received singles, including "Pot Of Gold," "The Day the Baron Died," "Felt Better Alive," and "Calvados." Over the course of his 20-year career, Doherty has put out twelve studio albums, comprising four records with The Libertines, three with Babyshambles, three solo albums, one with The Puta Madres, and his 2022 joint project with Frédéric Lo, The Fantasy Life of Poetry & Crime.
Meanwhile, Babyshambles are also getting ready to share a new release, Live At Koko, arriving on 13 November 2026. After spending the summer touring across Europe, the band have two performances scheduled in Belgium this December before returning to the UK for three sold-out shows around London. These include appearances at the 100 Club, Kingston's Circuit, and an 'Evening with Babyshambles' at KOKO.
The February 2027 run will kick off at Bath Komedia on 1 February, with further stops at Brighton Concorde 2, Falmouth Princess Pavilion, Southampton Engine Rooms, Nottingham The Palais, Manchester Academy 2, Newcastle Wylam Brewery, Holmfirth Picturedrome and Kidderminster Town Hall. The tour will conclude at London's Hackney Church on 12 February.
General ticket sales will begin on Friday 6 November 2026 at 10:00am.
