J-pop anime singer LiSA is celebrating the tenth anniversary since her debut with a special mini-album called LADYBUG, due May 19.
The set features seven tracks, including a couple of themes for upcoming movies such as “Another Great Day!!” composed and arranged by B’z guitarist Tak Matsumoto (featured in Jigoku no Hanazono), and “Surprise” (featured in The Door into Summer), plus collaborations with major J-pop artists such as “Non non” (written by Yuzu’s Yuujin Kitagawa), “ViVA LA MiDALA” (produced by MAH of reggae punk band SiM), and “GL” (produced by Queen Bee’s Avu-chan).
A new photo of the scarlet-haired “Gurenge” artist graces the cover of the regular version, while the limited edition -- complete with Blu-ray and merch -- will come in a red-and-black ladybug-inspired can. Limited first editions A and B are packaged in digipacks designed to open like the wings of the colorful beetle.
LiSA made the LADYBUG announcement via Instagram on March 19.
