Kings of Leon have shared plans for their tenth studio album, O My Beloved, arriving on 6 November 2026 via Love Tap Records with distribution from Virgin Music.
Featuring 13 songs, the record is the first full album the band has produced themselves. O My Beloved trades the bigger sound of earlier releases for a simpler approach, drawing on the music they began writing after first settling in Nashville.
Family, reflection and appreciation for their journey run throughout the album. Caleb Followill and fellow members Nathan, Jared, and Matthew Followill looked to their own lives and memories of growing up to shape the songs.
"We have already surpassed anything we ever imagined we could do, and we’ve built something that is so special," said frontman Caleb Followill. "I thought, wouldn’t it be beautiful to make an album that is looking back on all of the things that we’ve done and appreciating how we got here. In the songs, there’s our families, stories from our childhood, things that maybe didn’t seem that significant at the time, but the way they find their way into these songs kind of lets me realise how impactful they really were in my life."
The announcement also brought the first single, "My Whole World," together with its official music video. The song gives listeners an emotional first taste of the personal stories at the heart of the album.
Kings of Leon marked the news with a small show at Nashville’s The Basement East. Playing in the close quarters of a club recalled the band’s earliest gigs in the city.
Since releasing their debut in 2003, the group has sold over 20 million albums and 40 million singles worldwide. O My Beloved comes after 2024’s Can We Please Have Fun and the 2025 release EP #2. Fans can now preorder the album before it arrives in November.
