Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson are said to be coming together again for a new Netflix documentary.
According to The Sun, the former One Direction stars will travel across the United States on a road trip for the project.
Filming has already started, and the documentary is expected to arrive next year, which will mark ten years since One Direction went their separate ways.
Malik has been based in the US since 2018 after leaving the UK to live with his then-girlfriend, model Gigi Hadid.
Tomlinson also spends much of his time in America, where he co-parents his nine-year-old son with US stylist Briana Jungwirth.
One Direction, which originally featured Malik, Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and the late Liam Payne, announced an indefinite break in January 2016. Malik had already departed from the group in 2015.
Reports from Us Weekly suggested the band had been preparing for a reunion concert before Payne’s passing at the age of 31.
Payne sadly died in October 2024 after falling from the third floor of his hotel room at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The group first formed in 2010 on The X Factor.
All five members went on to pursue solo careers, with Styles reaching the greatest commercial success. In 2023, he took home the Grammy for Album of the Year with Harry's House.
