BLACKPINK briefly took over the women’s restroom at the 2026 Met Gala as JISOO, ROSÉ, JENNIE and LISA reunited for a playful mirror selfie during fashion’s biggest night.
Shared by the “Boyfriend on Demand” star on Instagram late Wednesday, May 6, two days after the glamorous event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the snapshot captured the four members having fun together in front of a bathroom mirror. JISOO playfully stuck out her tongue while holding up her phone, ROSÉ posed beside her with a goofy facial expression, JENNIE pulled a cute duck face and LISA smiled brightly with her eyes closed.
Gracie Abrams could also be spotted in the background of the picture, while ROSÉ later reacted in the comments with a string of heart and tongue out emojis.
Each member of BLACKPINK arrived separately on the Met Gala carpet, giving fans a closer look at their individual interpretations of the evening’s “Fashion Is Art” dress code, which supported the Costume Institute’s latest “Costume Art” exhibition. Among the standout looks was LISA’s dramatic outfit, with the The White Lotus star wearing oversized artificial arms attached to her shoulders, though the unique accessory was not visible in the bathroom selfie.
The group recently celebrated the release of their EP Deadline, which arrived in February and climbed to No. 8 on the Billboard 200. Earlier this year, BLACKPINK concluded their global Deadline World Tour, marking the members’ major reunion after spending nearly a year focused on individual projects.
While fans are still waiting to hear what the group’s next chapter will look like, JISOO recently hinted that she is deep into work on her first solo full length album. Speaking in a Wednesday, May 6 cover story with V Magazine, she shared: “I’m trying to explore a broader spectrum of music. I’d love for listeners to hear this album and feel like they’ve discovered a completely different side of me.”
