Gurriers have unveiled their hard hitting new single “Party Lines,” delivering another politically charged preview of the band’s upcoming second album. Check it out below.
The song is the latest release from the Dublin outfit’s forthcoming record, “Nobody’s Coming To Save You,” which is due out on September 25 through Play It Again Sam. Fans can now pre save or pre order the album. The band first introduced the project in May with its explosive title track.
According to the band, “Party Lines” was inspired by the escalating conflict in Sudan and examines the contradiction of world leaders providing humanitarian aid while continuing to sell weapons and fuel armed conflicts.
Musically, the track pushes Gurriers even further into dance punk, pairing jagged, high powered guitar work with relentless rhythms and an intense vocal performance.

“Nobody’s Coming To Save You” was recorded at Attica Studios in Donegal and Holy Mountain Studios in London. Production was handled by IDLES member Mark Bowen alongside Loren Humphrey, whose previous work includes Geese and Cameron Winter.
The new album arrives after Gurriers’ acclaimed 2024 debut, “Come And See,” which introduced the group as one of Ireland’s most exciting and uncompromising new guitar bands.
Speaking with NME when that album was released, the band described it as “a statement of intent.” The record also addressed major political issues, including the rise of the far right in Ireland.
“We hoped it would send a message,” frontman Dan Hoff said while discussing the widespread boycott of SXSW 2024 by Irish artists. “What the movement needed at SXSW was for bigger names like The Black Keys to say they weren’t playing, but instead it was Irish acts and smaller bands pulling out.”
“It was important that the Irish bands all did it together,” drummer Pierce O’Callaghan added. “What we had to do is incomparable to the atrocities facing the Palestinian people. It was incredibly disappointing of course, but at least we knew we were doing the right thing.”
More recently, Gurriers joined Kneecap for their major show at Crystal Palace Park in London, where they shared the lineup with The Mary Wallopers, Fat Dog and Kae Tempest.
The band is also scheduled to appear at several festivals this summer, including Boomtown and Reading & Leeds, before launching an extensive UK and European headline tour later this autumn.
The run includes a London performance at Electric Brixton on October 24, along with two hometown dates in Dublin at Vicar Street and 3Olympia Theatre. A full list of tour dates and remaining tickets is available now.
Last September, Gurriers released the single “Erasure,” marking their first new music since their debut album. Earlier this year, they also performed at The Great Escape 2026, where NME named them among the festival’s Top 10 performances.
