Kim Kardashian has put an end to the long-running rumour that she once dated Travis Barker before he became part of her family.

In an interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast on Wednesday, host Alex Cooper asked the reality star if she had “ever hooked up” with the Blink-182 drummer in the past.

“No, I never have,” Kim responded. “Absolutely, I don’t mind you asking. I never have, and it really sucks that the rumour has gone on for so long.”

Travis and Kim’s older sister, Kourtney Kardashian, began their relationship in 2020 and tied the knot two years later.

The SKIMS founder then looked back on how she and Travis first became friends.

“He dated Paris (Hilton), and we were all friends and would hang out when I was with Paris. We’d be on the road and go to their tour in Amsterdam,” the 44-year-old explained. “So, I’ve known him for a long time… and never hooked up with him.”

Later, Alex asked Kim if she knew Travis would eventually reveal in his 2015 memoir, Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums, that he once had a crush on her.

“No,” she answered. “But it would say we never hooked up. I don’t think he would ever hint at something that didn’t happen, you know? And Kourtney was around during that time. They were neighbours for ten years. So, when everyone was hanging out, he was always there with his kids. They’d always be at Kourtney’s for birthdays. Everything was out in the open and friendly. He was just as close to them as he was to me. It was never anything strange.”
