Yard Act have teamed up with Manchester independent fashion label Blue Flowers for a limited edition clothing collection.
The Leeds indie group helped create the entire collection, which is available to preorder now in limited quantities.
Several pieces feature in the new partnership, including a trench coat that recalls the band’s earliest era.
Frontman James Smith became closely associated with the style during Yard Act’s first releases, regularly wearing trench coats for concerts and promotional shoots. In 2023, the group discussed leaving the signature look behind and released a track titled ‘Trench Coat Museum’.
The newly created coat features portraits of every band member painted by Smith across its inner lining.
The collection also offers a denim jacket and an earflap hat. Yard Act’s partnership with Blue Flowers follows the recent arrival of their praised third album, ‘You’re Gonna Need A Little Music’. The first 100 people who purchase either the trench coat or denim jacket will also receive an original print of the album cover signed by the band and produced on heavyweight 325 GSM art card.
