THEY’RE THE STARS! 5 Seconds of Summer celebrate their fourth Official UK Number 1 album this week with EVERYONE’S A STAR!.
After earning their first chart leader with their 2015 album Sounds Good Feels Good, Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin, Luke Hemmings, and Michael Clifford went on to enjoy more Number 1 victories with CALM in 2020 and 5SOS5 in 2022.
The group also take the top spot on the Official Record Store Chart, with EVERYONE’S A STAR! becoming the most purchased album in UK independent record shops this week.
Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving claims its eighth week inside the Top 5 at Number 2.
This result means Taylor Swift moves from the summit, as The Life of a Showgirl settles into the Number 3 position this week.
Congratulations also go to D Block Europe, as PTSD 2 gives the duo a fifth Top 5 appearance within six years, landing at Number 4. In the past, D Block Europe achieved major chart moments with PTSD in 2019, The Blue Print Us VS Them in 2020, Lap 5 in 2022, and their 2024 Number 1 Rolling Stone.
Elsewhere on the chart, Oasis see their live album Familiar To Millions rise back up the rankings to Number 11 thanks to a special 25th anniversary reissue. The recording of their iconic 2000 Wembley Stadium performance also reaches the top of this week’s Official Vinyl Albums Chart, selling the most vinyl copies over the past seven days.
Celeste earns a second Top 20 release with her album Woman Of Faces, which arrives at Number 12.
US R and B singer Summer Walker enters at Number 13 with Finally Over It, the third chapter in her Over It series. Her earlier albums Over It in 2019 and Still Over It in 2021 both reached the Top 20 as well.
Michigan rapper NF enjoys strong online support for his new project FEAR, which becomes his fourth UK Top 20 album, landing at Number 14.
The rise of Liverpool rapper EsDeeKid continues, as Rebel climbs again, this time moving up three places to Number 16.
British rock favourites Doves see their collection So, Here We Are: Best Of Doves arrive at Number 17, giving the Wilmslow band their eighth Top 20 achievement.
With the release of a special 50th anniversary vinyl edition, Tears For Fears return to the Albums Chart at Number 20 with Songs From The Big Chair.
Tate McRae enjoys a jump of six positions with So Close To What this week, just ahead of the new deluxe edition of the album, now sitting at Number 24.
And to close out this week’s Albums Chart, rock and roll icons The Rolling Stones return with their 1976 project Black and Blue at Number 40, boosted by the arrival of new physical editions.
