Mary J Blige is set to launch a Las Vegas residency in spring 2026 at Park MGM. The run, titled Mary J. Blige: My Life, My Story The Las Vegas Residency, will open on May 1 and include 10 shows scheduled through July 18. She revealed the news in a social media post shared on Monday.
Fans quickly flooded the comments with excitement following the announcement. “Omg I’ve been saying MJB needs a Vegas Residency!!!!! You already know I’m there!!! Awesome birthday surprise!!” one fan wrote. Another added, “God is just blessing my girl and I am here for IT.”
“I’ve been so excited to announce this Vegas residency,” Blige said in a press release. “Creating a show like this has been something I’ve always wanted to do. It’s a chance to bring my fans together from everywhere, different cities, states, and countries, to share one experience. My Life, My Story will truly live up to its name, with a few special surprises for the fans who have supported me all these years. See you in May!”
Tickets for Mary J. Blige’s My Life, My Story The Las Vegas Residency will go on sale through Ticketmaster on Friday, January 16 at 1:00 PM ET. Citi and AAdvantage cardmembers will have access to the earliest presale on Tuesday, followed by an artist presale on Wednesday. On Thursday, MGM Rewards members, MGM Resorts loyalty members, and both Live Nation and Ticketmaster customers will also be able to purchase tickets.
Blige also spoke about what fans can expect from the residency during an appearance on the Today Show on Monday. “It’s going to be done more theatrically,” she explained, according to Rolling Stone. “The music will still be there and it’s still going to be fun, but it’s a story, so there will be actors and actresses involved. The songs will tell the story. I have so many tracks I’ve never performed for my fans before. The actors will help narrate the music, but everyone is still going to have a great time.”
