This week’s UK Official Albums Chart is led by major pop names and notable alternative releases, with Harry Styles continuing his run at the top while James Blake reaches a new personal best with his latest release.
Harry’s Disco Era Stays Strong
Harry Styles remains at Number 1 for a second straight week with Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. After setting new benchmarks during its first week including the strongest debut sales of his solo career, the album continues to perform strongly. His move toward a disco inspired pop sound is clearly connecting with listeners.
A Career Moment For James Blake
While Harry continues to lead the chart, one of the biggest achievements this week belongs to James Blake. His newest album Trying Times enters at Number 3, giving him the highest chart position of his career so far. The release arrives through his own imprint Good Boy Records and features executive production from Jameela Jamil. It also becomes his fifth album to reach the Top 10.
Outside of the main rankings, Blake is also seeing strong support from dedicated music fans. The record currently sits at Number 1 on both the Official Record Store Chart and the Official Vinyl Albums Chart. The album’s mix of emotional honesty and thoughtful themes appears to be resonating particularly well with vinyl buyers and independent music supporters.
Albums On The Rise And Returning Favorites
Tate McRae is also seeing renewed momentum this week. Her 2025 album So Close To What jumps 17 spots to reach Number 5. The boost follows the arrival of a deluxe two LP vinyl edition and marks the record’s best chart position since December 2025.
At the same time, Noah Kahan’s Stick Season moves back into the Top 10 at Number 10. The renewed interest comes as anticipation builds for his next album The Great Divide, which follows the recent release of his single "Porch Light."
Breakthrough Acts And Established Names
Brighton band YONAKA have achieved a new peak with Until You’re Satisfied, which reaches Number 25. Rock veterans The Black Crowes also return with their ninth Top 40 album as A Pound of Feathers lands at Number 37. Elsewhere, Calvin Harris continues to climb with 96 Months, which rises to Number 31 this week.
