The upcoming album has been executive produced by Julian Bunetta and John Ryan, two collaborators Horan has worked with for years. A press statement described the record as “cinematic and organic, with songs that play like memories being gently created”.
This announcement follows Horan recently confirming that the new album was complete, while also giving fans a first preview of the new music.
The lead single and title track from the album will arrive on Friday (March 20), and Horan explained that the song reflects “about a really happy and big moment in my life”.
He added that it tells the story of “an evening at a simple dinner party that changed the course of my life”, and explained: “After writing the song , the words ‘dinner party‘ became the nucleus for the rest of the record. That once in a lifetime moment that I am grateful for and for everything that came after that night.”
Last month also saw Horan release the track ‘Drive Safe’, a collaboration with Myles Smith. He has also been confirmed for the Radio 1 Big Weekend line up, which will take place in Sunderland this May.
Meanwhile, fellow One Direction member Harry Styles released his fourth solo album ‘Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally’ earlier this month and marked the release with his first full concert at Manchester’s Co-op Live. He also performed lead single ‘Aperture’ at the BRITs 2026.
Styles is also preparing for his large scale ‘Together, Together’ residency series, which includes a record setting 12 night run at London’s Wembley Stadium. You can find remaining tickets here. He will also take on a 30 date residency in New York City. Remaining tickets are available here.
That tour begins in Amsterdam on May 16 and will continue through London, São Paulo, Mexico City, NYC, Melbourne and Sydney before concluding on December 13. Find remaining Australia tickets here.
Zayn Malik is also preparing to release his fifth album ‘Konnakol’ on April 17 and will support it with a 31 date world tour that includes shows at London’s The O2 along with Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham. Find tickets here.
Malik also made a playful comment about ticket pricing, which some fans saw as a subtle reference to conversations about the cost of Styles’ Wembley shows. “Hopefully the ticket prices weren’t too high – just saying!” he joked while thanking fans for attending.
Louis Tomlinson released his third album ‘How Did I Get Here?’ in January and recently told NME about dealing with feeling “utterly intimidated” when starting his solo career, while also sharing his interest in supporting emerging artists and collaborating with Yungblud.
