Gracie Abrams seems to be hinting at new music. Over the past few days, the pop artist has been posting a series of mysterious updates that appear to point toward a new project, most recently sharing a short song preview on Instagram on Monday April 20.
In the clip, Abrams is seen in a simple red T shirt, glancing down at her phone as the glow from the screen lights up her face. A soft and shimmering instrumental plays in the background, teasing a dreamy blend of echoing chimes that stops just as her voice begins to come in.
Fans in the comments are clearly both excited and eager for more details about what she is working on. “OH WE ARE SO BACK,” one user wrote, while another added, “GIRL STOP TEASING.”

The video follows several other hints the singer has shared leading up to her still unannounced third studio album. Over the past few days, she posted two images of a notebook marked “3,” along with a sticker that reads “Witch” placed beneath an illustration of a broom riding figure. A more recent photo of the same notebook, shared on April 16, shows three separate stickers labeled “DFH.”
It is already known that Abrams has been spending time in the studio. This year, she has posted multiple photos of herself working alongside longtime collaborator Aaron Dessner on Instagram. During her 2024 to 2025 Secret of Us Tour, she also spoke openly about continuing to create music whenever she could.
“Aaron and I are catching each other in these little pockets between hectic times,” she told Billboard in her 2025 cover story. “Every day that I live with the music, things start to become a little clearer. There’s something we’re starting to crack that is making both of us feel energized.”
The artist last released a full length project in 2024, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with The Secret of Us.
